brings a unique 360-degree perspective to her practice. Her diverse background enables
Sofía to anticipate and address the complexities of arbitration proceedings from every
angle. Having worked in Mexico and abroad, Sofía is known as a skilled advocate and
strategist in high-stakes disputes.
As an associate at González de Cossío Abogados, S.C., Sofía focuses on international
arbitration, sports arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution. Sofía represents clients
across diverse industries, such as energy, construction, infrastructure, and finance, in

Before joining González de Cossío Abogados, Sofía was part of the General Secretariat
of Mexico’s leading arbitration institution, the Mexico Arbitration Center (CAM),
where she administered over 40 arbitrations. During her tenure, she also organized the
Moot Mexico, a prestigious arbitration competition, and led the editorial committee of
CAM’s Law Review.
